During the coronavirus crisis, the stress of new rules and the health threats caused by the pandemic can take its toll on our general wellbeing. To support your general wellbeing, the following services are available.

-Advocacy Support & Empowerment Plus (ASEP) by Nishkam Centre – Special Support for Universal Credit, Personal Independence Payment, debt queries, employment queries, Employment Support Allowance and general signposting to other sources of support (caseworkers available Monday – Friday, 9:30am-4:30pm) – 0121 515 003

-Ask A&E App – Assistance to check whether you should go to A&E. Helps to check your symptoms and get NHS answers and recommendations for treatment (alternatively you can call 111). The app also features “COVID-19 Care Assistant”, which offers free information from NHS Doctors and Clinicians. You can also speak to a healthcare professional via videochat if required.

-Healthwatch – If you need services, or information about advocacy, complaints, wellbeing, safeguarding, local support groups, details of patient rights locally and nationally, etc, please contact the free, confidential and independent service via https://www.healthwatch.co.uk/
